PETRO
AQUA’S ACTIVITY PROGRAM FOR 2008
- Protecting
natural potential of water sources and resources from Parang Mountain
by the following actions:
-
collecting and extracting the solid residuum from alpine streams
and lakes
-
Placing informative panels
with ecological slogans for informing the population and tourists about the
importance of water , fauna and vegetation protection
-
Identifying pollution water
sources from Parang and Sureanu Mountains informing the ability
institutions from environmental
domain
2. Reclamation of some area
affected by mining activity (in case of financial support after promoting
documentation) by planting seedlings for assuring soil stability and increasing CO2
absorption by vegetation development.
3. Organizing in June 2008 a
expedition on Mures River which republish a merchandise transport on corks constructed identically with the
ones which navigated in the old counties of Alba and Hunedoara on the
following run: Alba –Iulia (living
from Portos the old harbor) – Deva – Tisa – Săvârşin – Rodna –
Lipova – Pauliş –Arad – Szeged. On this expedition will be perform
environmental protection actions.
Our organization intend to
invite at the expedition the International Association of Rafters and
counterpart associations from Spain Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Czech
Republic, Slovenia and Norway. The
action will evolve in collaboration with Alba County Council, Alba County
Environmental Protection Agency and Union History Museum from Alba County.
4. Elaborating a study in collaboration
with History Museum of Dacia Civilization from Deva regarding “Development
of human community on Mures River, keeping the traditions in the social,
economic, cultural and ethnographic development.”
5. Continuation of
intercessions towards Natural Park Grădiştea Muncelului –
Cioclovina România for obtaining the custody for administration of the
natural and protected area Peştera Bolii (Bolii’s cave).
6. Organizing the traditional
cultural manifestation from Bolii Cave on 1 st of May, in collaboration
with CNH Petrosani.
7. For promoting the cultural and local
tradition, together with the Jiu Valley peccavis, organizing the “A
CAPELLA" coral concert at Bolii’s Cave.
8. Participation to "GEO-ECOLOGIA"
symposium organized by Petroşani University.
9. Publishing again in local
mass media of ecological postcard “The Ecology” . With these post cards we
try to make intimation of the environmental protection responsibles but
also of the public, private institute and citizens about the pollution
situations observed by our association.
10. Publishing “PETRO AQUA BOOKS” nr. 4 and 5
having the following topics:
-
“Bolii’s Cave natural
protected area” – will be published on 9 May at Bolii Cave
-
“Mures River between fortresses
and castles “
11.
Publishing an album with cult dwelling from Jiu Valley, in collaboration
with Petrosani City Hall, Orthodox and Catholic Rank
12.
Making the intercessions for obtain the support in organizing the “Momarlan
festival” in Parang Mountain at Trinity on 15 th of August.
13. Organizing on 1 -st of June the traditional
competition of tourist ‘s orientation, in collaboration with Banita and
Petrosani town halls, Lupeni SALVAMONT, Red Cross and Mountain Gendarmerie

Organizing together with Petro Aqua’s Children Ecologic Council, some
manifestations with ecologic theme (plastic art expositions, and
photography expositions). The manifestations will be with the occasion of
World Water’s Day, Forest Month, Children‘s Day and Petrosani ‘s city day.
15. Together with Petrosani city hall, the
association will set up an ecologic group with the pupils from the first
form from No. 5 General School. Together with these pupils and starting
with September 2008, along 4 years, we will develop actions for consolidate
a positive attitude towards ecological principles, environment, nature,
history, traditions knowing of Jiu Valley

Establishing connections with organizations with ecologic profile from from
city twined with Petrosani.
17. For realizing the proposed actions in 2008 we
will still ask support of Hunedoara County Council, the city halls from Jiu
Valley, CNH SA , Romanian Waters, Petrosani University, History Museum of
Dacia Civilization, Salvamont Lupeni and others structures of civil
society.
